In Tanglewoods: White, the jealous Evil Stepmother has banished you into the dangerous forest, and then, thinking better of it, has sent a wide variety of goons to finish you off. Your only hope is to navigate the treacherous trees and get back to the Stepmother's castle, where you will fight her most trusted minions before bringing her to her knees for all of the evil stepmothering she's been doing. She's giving stepmothers a bad name! They're the mothers who stepper up! 

The White Woods:

In this deck, the forest cards are also the enemy and table cards. When you move onto a card in the forest, you activate it (and potentially other cards from your strategy area, if the card calls for it). 

While you're applying your beatdown, however, you'd best be careful of your surroundings: each of the surrounding forest cards has a unique modified that might be applied to your battle, depending on which enemies you're facing. After each battle, you will take the first enemy you defeated and place it under one of the Stepmother's cards, where they will be put to use later (menacing, no?).
