The base game is already really good but this expansion just makes the game even more replayable, allows for more complexity and novelty: it comes with a ton more spirits and minor/major power cards, it allows you to play with events (that make the game even more unpredictable)... The expansion is totally recommended if you already like Spirit Island and you want the game to keep evolving

There were some delivery delays due to shipping issues and the customer service made sure I was informed. They even recommended to wait a few more days and not split the order, saving me the shipping fee. I always got a very friendly reply and the product are amazing. I can only recommend them!

I would say that, as of 11-2023, this expansion for Spirit Island is the best regarding content per money spent value: 10 spirits; 2 adversaries; 3 scenarios; 23 Majors; 33 Minors and more.
Not to mention the expansion from four to six players.

If you're considering buying this expansion, first and foremost, you should be asking yourself if your usual friend group is entranced by the game too. It was my first expansion, and it should certainly be yours if you would like to grant access to more people during one same session.

Not only does it expand the player count, it also grants you access to the Nature Incarnate expansion, which can not be played without Jagged Earth.

The only doubt that should hold you back from buying this expansion is hesitation on whether or not Spirit Island will be a consistent contender on game nights. Imagine yourself in 1 year. Will your friends still ask: "Can we play that game with the spirits?" If so, and if it's also a personal favourite, then hesitation should already be small, as it was for me.
